JMD Development is pleased to announce that several of Antilles’ Coach and Multiplex homes have been completed and are now available for purchase in time for Season.  Additionally, the first of its Designer Series Models – the Nevis – is now available for private viewing or by appointment, Other Coach and Multiplex homes can now be viewed for sale, offering a range of sizes, views and building configurations.  Antilles’ 212 residences are priced from the high $300,000’s.

The Nevis model looks like Island style living at its finest.  Deep, cool blues, sun bleached whites and clean lines illustrate an uncluttered focus on contemporary coastal design elements rendered in premium materials and luxury finishes.  The three bedroom, two bath condominium has 1,980 air-conditioned square feet and includes a screened-in lanai and attached two-car garage.  Its elegant decor showcases the same updated interpretation of classic West Indies Island style that defines Antilles’ overall architectural presentation.  The Nevis model is the first example of how brand new, modern luxury living can look. 

As soon as you enter the model, balmy Island breezes seem to stir.  The first impression of the Nevis is that of a light, bright and airy home. Through and through, the Nevis is sharp and well done.  Wide profile, twelve by twenty-four inch Potenza Ivory ceramic tile with a matte finish ground all the living areas with a fresh and modern esthetic.  Pure White walls, higher ceilings, tall baseboards and substantial solid wood, routed-profile doors with gleaming Merano hardware continue the sun bleached, tropical ambience.  Deeply louvered interior Bahama window and door shutters continue the Island rhythms throughout, and a striking deepest sea-blue accent wall in the Entry Area forms a dramatic backdrop for its detailed, bone-white sea coral art installation that exudes Island fun and flair.

The Nevis’ main living area is configured as a great room with an island kitchen and adjacent dining and living areas that open onto a screened-in lanai that spans the room.  The living area is to the right of the entry, with a crisp white couch and twin deep-navy club chairs that create a well-defined invitation to linger in comfort.  Tall, wall-to-wall slider doors bring the Nevis’ serene landscaped view inside and allow for the easy indoor-outdoor lifestyle that is a hallmark of an Island-style home.  Bold two-toned drapes in alternating shades of mid and deep sea-blue echo the Entry’s accent wall and quietly balance the great room.

The adjacent dining area is anchored by a bold white pedestal dining table with plush side chairs featuring oversized rivet trims and a gracefully curved pull-up banquette with a deep button-tufted back.  The chrome drum chandelier highlights another large tabletop sea coral art piece. The dining area’s light-neutral upholstery tones and armless seating pieces give the space an overall open and airy feel and compliment the entry and living areas’ dramatic decor.  Outside, the lanai’s furnishings are grouped into lounging and conversational arrangements, using substantial woven-reed pieces with deep cushions upholstered in neutral tones with sharp blue accent striping.

The Nevis’ Kitchen has an oversized island with a gorgeous curved-edge Blanco Maple Quartz countertop, a high-arching multi-function chrome faucet, Kohler sink and three wide chrome pendant lights in addition to the home’s recessed lighting.  Slick low-profile chrome and navy-upholstered counter stools complete the island’s seating.  The Kitchen is custom fitted with two wide walls of white Shaker-style cabinetry with forty-two inch uppers, stainless steel appliances and a large pantry with custom built-in shelving.

The master bedroom’s wide white drum chandelier draws attention to its elegant ceiling detail.  Engineered designer carpeting and a wide-ribbed upholstered headboard bring more texture to the room.  As in all of Antilles’ Coach Homes, the adjoining master bath includes a separate commode room.  The vanity has a double Kohler sink, bright chrome fittings and the same soft white Blanco Maple Quartz countertop as in the Kitchen.  It is topped by a wall-to-wall mirror installation. The oversized,  glass-enclosed shower is fitted with a Kohler rain forest shower head and substantial frameless glass door.  The linen closet and walk-in master xloset are both custom built out with wood shelving.

The second bedroom skillfully mixes stripes and patterns in neutral tones to create a modern and cohesive impression of texture with tailored elegance.  Its long accent color wall forms the perfect background for this well conceived and interesting room.

The Nevis is the first of two Grand Coach Home models to be completed.  The larger Montserrat floorplan has 2,444 square feet under air and will be available for viewing this week as well.  Antilles’ Classic Coach Homes are smaller three-bedroom, two-bath residences and their models will be available to view this month.  They range in size from 1,509 to 1,537 square feet under air.  The twelve-unit Multiplex buildings are built two floors over parking and their three models will be competed by the end of September 2020.  Their two and three bedroom, two-bath homes range in size from 1,448 to 1,698 square feet under air.

The residences of Antilles interior features introduce as standard features fine and contemporary elements such as solid wood, routed panel doors, hurricane-rated windows and doors, Shaker style 42-inch wood kitchen cabinetry, Merano hardware, higher ceilings and baseboards, sleek Decora-trim rocker style lighting switches, cove ceiling detailing per plan, wide profile, twelve by twenty-four inch tile flooring, double sink master bath vanities, Kohler plumbing fixtures, substantial frameless glass shower doors and built-in custom closet systems throughout.  All residences include linen closets, pantries, walk-in master closets and separate laundry eooms with washers and dryers included.  Quartz countertops are standard, as are kitchen island pendant fixtures and stainless steel kitchen appliances – including on-trend French door style refrigerators.  Recessed lighting and advance wiring for data, voice and video are included.
