This six-bedroom Plano estate has a spiral staircase in a bathroom and room for your nine cars

Built in 1999, this estate, priced at $4.69 million, sits on 2.73 acres in the Willow Bend Country neighborhood of Plano. It was recently updated and features a wealth of detailed design, from ornate crown moldings to a two-story closet.

The property has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three half-bathrooms, but listing agent Michelle Field noted that there is an additional “in-law” suite and separate guest apartment that add three more bedrooms and two more bathrooms.

Field said she thinks the home could suit a family housing multiple generations, especially with the generous amount of extra space in the “in-law” and guest quarters.

Peer inside this designer’s $1.85 million Prosper home with modern touches and garages for eight cars

Situated on more than an acre in the Prosper neighborhood of Whispering Farms, this home built in 2005 has been recently updated with modern finishes and an on-trend color palette.

The 5,647-square-foot home at 2721 Lakeview Drive has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and one half bathroom. It’s owned by a designer who updated it throughout, said listing agent Stacy Cate of Compass.

“I think she just really elevated it by very carefully, and very well planned, touching every surface,” Cate said.

A winding staircase is a focal point at the entry of the home. The formal dining room sits to the left of the front door, with a formal living room to the right. Both are open to each other in the larger, open-floor-plan room.

A hallway with wine storage connects the dining area to the kitchen. The kitchen was part of the updates and features a black-and-white color scheme
