Canadian design duo Nivek Remas on their latest work and fall trends

Projects by interior designers Kevin Chan and Samer Shaath, of Toronto-based design firm Nivek Remas , are plentiful and impressive. Their collective design careers span 20 years and include luxury hospitality, residential and retail design, both in Canada and abroad, such as the W Hotel and Rosewood Hotel in Guangzhou, China.

We caught up with the pair to hear about their latest work and what home decor and furnishing trends we’ll be seeing this fall.

Chan and Shaath recently completed a high-end private residence in Toronto’s Shangri-La Hotel. The owners are very well-travelled and love the hotel experience, so they tried to bring this into their design concept, says Shaath.

Move-in ready home begun at Sapphire Cove
